Karamu Track Trail Trip– Hot and dry.
Track Grade - Grade 2
Track Condition – Dry clay for most of it, but still the odd muddy section amongst the trees.
Hard Luck – None, no damage!
Best thing – Nice farm tracks well lead by Ken from Hamilton Cozzie Four Wheelers
Worst (and good) thing – Watching Sue, who owns the farm with David, drive her stock 1998 Isuzu Mu on street tyres and 35psi through everything we did in our modified trucks. Sue did get a bit crossed up sometimes but did very well.
Camping – Yes. Bruce and his family camped overnight at the camping area along with Ken.
Nice surprise – We got to go this time. This event was cancelled three times last year.
Conclusion – Great trip, great group, great time. Let’s do it again next year.
