Visitors are welcome to attend club trips before joining to decided if they like the club. It also gives the Committee time to see if you're the kind of person we want in the club. This trial period ensures that the club remains free of reckless drivers etc.

Before joining the club you must complete a basic off road driver training course, or prove that you have done so in the past. Click here to find out where you can do one of these courses.

Once you have completed the trial period, filled out a membership application (avaliable from our Membership officer at all club meetings) and the committe have approved your application, then you only have to pay your fees to become a member.

Membership Classes

• Full Membership, printed magazine: $75
1 adult and 1 other adult in the same household, e.g. husband & wife. Both adults are regarded as full members if named and have voting rights within the club. This includes membership of the NZFWDA and a printed copy of Twin Diffs mailed to you each month.

• Full Membership, online magazine: $60
1 adult and 1 other adult in the same household, e.g. husband & wife. Both adults are regarded as full members if named and have voting rights within the club. This includes membership of the NZFWDA but no Twin Diffs subscription, instead it is available online.

• Associate Member, printed magazine: $45
For people who are already full members of another 4WD club, and the NZFWDA.. You'll also recieve a printed copy of Twin Diffs mailed to you each month.

• Associate Member, online magazine: $30
For people who are already full members of another 4WD club, and the NZFWDA. Twin Diffs is available online.
