Farewell John Walker
It is with great sadness that we mourn the death of John Walker on 3 August, after a valiant battle with cancer over more than five years. He will be hugely missed by his family, the aviation world and four wheeling. A wonderful inspiration and clear thinking man, whose contribution to four wheeling covered many facets including an Auckland Four Wheel Drive Club presidency, winch challenge competitor, event manager, hangi expert and winch challenge rules convener. John will be sorely missed by all who knew him and the Auckland 4WD Club extend our condolences to the extended family and to his wife Pip and their family, Jeremy, Megan and Nathan.
