Club Member's Vehicle Details for Club Magazine
 |
|
| |
Wanted!
Your vehicle details so they can be published in the club magazine.
An opportunity to submit an article and help to support the clubs newsletter.
PDF version, print out and fill in by hand
MS Word version, fill out and e-mail
Lets other members know what you drive and why. Also a opportunity to share information you have learned while building and modifying your ride to go further and harder.
Either e-mail the forms back to me or bring with you to the next club meeting.
An electronic version is best as it allows Calvin to copy and paste it into the magazine, hassle free.
Some photos of your ride in its natural environment (MUD) would be great too.

Official Club Radio Communications Channel |
|
| |
Spotted another club member in traffic and want to talk on the radio but don't know what channel to use?
The club agreed at a recent meeting to adopt the PRS Ch16 as the 'default' channel for our vehicles. Checks with the Radio Spectrum management got their agreement that with proper use of the radios they have no issue with our use of Ch16.
It has been suggested that all 4x4 clubs in NZ adopt this channel as a calling channel. (Australian clubs use PRS Ch10 if you are over there)

Trip Leader Guidelines 2007 |
|
|
Introduction
The purpose of this document is to assist members of the Auckland Four Wheel Drive Club, Inc (“the Club”) to become confident Trip Leaders.
To ensure the aims and objectives of the Club are upheld in accordance with the Club constitution and rules.
It is not intended for commercial training.
Skills & Attributes of a Trip Leader
The Committee determines the minimum skills and attributes required of a club member to be considered as a suitable and responsible Trip Leader. A competent four wheel driver does not necessarily make a good Trip Leader. Trip Leaders should always review club rules / regulations / by-laws.
The Club intends to run training sessions, where experienced Trip Leaders will advise new potential Trip Leaders how to run trips. It would also be advisable that a potential Trip Leader has attended a minimum number of club trips.
